TrailCam Dashboard Privacy Policy

Blake Matthew Mindful Memorial Foundation, Inc.

Effective Date: October 28, 2026

1. Our Commitment to Privacy

The Blake Matthew Mindful Memorial Foundation, Inc. operates the Tinman Trail wellness education program and its TrailCam Dashboard.

TrailCam is designed to help participants and the community better understand how wellness practices may relate to measurable changes in sleep, stress, recovery, heart rate, and other health-related indicators.

We respect the privacy of every participant and are committed to collecting only the information necessary to support the program.

2. Information We Collect

With each participant's express authorization through Garmin Connect, TrailCam may receive the following information, depending on device capabilities and permissions:

  • Resting heart rate and available heart rate measurements

  • Heart rate variability (HRV), where available

  • Sleep duration and available sleep measurements

  • Garmin Body Battery measurements

  • Garmin stress measurements

  • Activity and movement information, where enabled

  • Dates and times associated with measurements

We may also maintain a confidential participant identification code and technical information needed to maintain the authorized Garmin connection.

Not all Garmin devices provide the same measurements.

3. How We Use Information

We use authorized Garmin information to:

  • Monitor wellness trends throughout the Tinman Trail program.

  • Evaluate changes in group-level wellness indicators.

  • Support educational discussions about sleep, recovery, stress, physical activity, and personal awareness.

  • Create aggregated statistics and visualizations for the TrailCam Dashboard.

  • Evaluate and improve the Tinman Trail program.

Garmin measurements are wellness indicators and are not used to diagnose medical conditions or make medical treatment decisions.

4. Public Dashboard and Participant Anonymity

The TrailCam Dashboard is intended to display aggregated group-level information on the foundation's website.

The public dashboard will not display participant names, email addresses, Garmin account identifiers, or individual wellness histories.

Because Tinman Trail groups may be small, additional precautions will be used to reduce the risk of identifying participants. These include minimum reporting-group sizes and withholding statistics where identification may be possible.

Only appropriately aggregated information will be made publicly available.

Participants will be informed of this public reporting purpose and asked for their consent before their information is included.

5. Data Storage and Service Providers

The foundation intends to use Supabase as its database and application infrastructure provider to securely process and store authorized Garmin information.

Garmin Connect provides data according to the permissions granted by participants.

Authorized service providers may process information on behalf of the foundation for hosting, storage, security, and application operations.

The foundation does not sell Garmin activity or health data to third parties.

We will not use Garmin participant data to train artificial intelligence models.
